BlueSeries SMS consist
of two modules SMS Monitor and SMS Communicator.
SMS
Monitor
With SMS Monitor you can monitor every movement
and process on your IBM System i (A/S400). You can
monitor system messages, message queues, message
files, job, user profiles and you can also make
a conditioned monitor
session. System messages will be forwarded via SMS
or email, and can also be reoplied via the mobile
phone. It is also possible
to use SMS to execute programs and carry out commends,
such as restarting sub- systems.
A separate PC-client makes it possible to monitor
attached Windows Servers and workstations.
SMS Communicator
With SMS Communicator it is possible to send and
receive SMS via your IBM System i (A/S400). It is
easy to integrate SMS Communicator to other applications.
In this way an incoming SMS can activate various
scenarios eg. that an order is closed and an invoice
is printed.
A gateway to send "Large Scale" (10.000
to 6.000.000 SMS pr. month) can be acquired as a
separate module.
SMS Communicator can be acquired as a part of the
BlueSeries package, whereas SMS Monitor is a separate
package.
