A picture paints a thousand words so shouldn't your reports be more visual? Charting for System i allows your report generating workflow to include graphical pie, line or bar charts, greatly increasing impact with both management and customers.
Easy integration
Charting ships with examples written in RPG and CL showing its use. These examples call an RPG program which interfaces with the Charting service. Data is sent in and the service writes images (JPEG and GIF are supported) to the IFS.

Three chart types
Charting supports 3 basic types of charts, pie charts, bar charts, and line graphs. The product is very configurable, you can choose where to position different legends, the colours, fonts and font sizes to use, whether to include pseudo-3D effects etc. Of course you supply the chart data as well!
