Enhanced Support for Zebra Label Printing to its
InterForm 400 Printing Application for System
i & AS/400 Platforms

of InterForm 400 and a registered Zebra Technologies
Business Associate (ZBA) are pleased to add enhanced
support for Zebra label printing to its InterForm
400 printing application for the AS/400/IBM System i
platforms.
Zebra printers can be attached using a Zebra Net
Print Server, Client Access on a PC or attached
to a Dumb Terminal.
Features:
No knowledge
of Zebra’s ZPL language is required. Supports
both 203 and 300 dpi printers - ZPL is dimensioned
in dots, so labels manually coded in RPG or COBOL
will require coding or a separate program for each
version of dpi printer being used. Labels
are populated with the variable data contained in
standard SCS spooled files, no changes are needed
to your applications. Labels
can be quickly modified ‘on the fly’
– No program recompilations are needed. Zebra
printer internal font support is for Western code
page only, the following code pages can also be
implemented using soft fonts: 420 Arab : 424 Hebrew
: 875 Greek : 880 Cyrillic : 1025 Cyrillic with
€ : 1026 Turkish : 1112 Baltic Use
of soft fonts also enable a range of TTF fonts to
be implemented. Support
for holding fonts and images in Flash Memory. Print
labels on a locally or remotely attached Zebra printer.
